Throwback Post: A Collection of Thomas Birthday Celebrations

November 16 2014:

Full day of getting ready for Thomas’ birthday party, then a small intimate party with his best friend with an absolutely yummilicious chocolate cake with creme cheese frosting, and ending with a quick trip to the park to walk the labyrinth. Great day!!

November 16 2013:

Thomas birthday party adventures at The Romano Casa! Pizza, salad, itty bitty cake with a fun dance party as the finale! Thank you Romano Duo … Team TLC loves y’all!

November 15 2013:

Thomas’ class birthday celebration was yesterday. The kids sit in a circle with the birthday child in the center and take turns asking questions. Thomas was asked which person he liked best and who is his best friend. He answered that his sister was his favorite person and that at home his best friends are his Mom and sister. At the conclusion he got to blow out the candle. Then all the students take time to write at least three complements for the birthday person! So cool! BONUS! I got to meet and hold the tortoises …. Shelly and Charger! So darn cute!

November 12 2013:

Happy 8th Birthday Thomas (11.13.13) … Thomas’ 8th year of life begins tomorrow. There are hardly words to describe what this young man with his wise soul have brought into my life. I am blessed daily by his presence, his love, his wisdom and his humor. I LOVE that I get to be his mentor and his mother and that HE gets to be my mentor and son!

Team TLC is off to The Romano Casa for some Spooktacular fun! BOO!

Once a fairy princess, always a fairy princess. Thomas was dressed as “Happy”! Close up picture to follow.

Wahoo from the fairy princess and get your happy on from Thomas dressed as “Happy”. All the treat givers loved Thomas’ home made costume! He almost had me in tears. He was putting candy he collected back into the empty bowls at houses where no one was home. I give away most of what they get, yet they have tons of fun with the anticipation and creating their costumes.

Happy Halloween from a blurry Team TLC. Looks like my phone has been drinking.

Library Day!! Lillian’s favorite was the peacock pumpkin, I liked the spooky pumpkin, and Thomas liked the white one but he was already in the lobby reading! Lillian and I got our turn in the photo booth this time too!!

Throwback Post: Thomas and Camilla November 2013 Date Day

It’s a beautiful, awesome, magical day to be alive! Today I get to go on a date with one of the most amazing, inspiring people I know … the one I get to call my son. Here’s Thomas with the most giant snowball in the World that he made yesterday during our walk. Huge smiles and hugs y’all!

First stop on the November Camilla n Thomas Date Day … a fabulous lunch … thank you Marcy Barba for the gift card! YUM!

Next stop on the T & C Date Day …. sea salt caramel for Thomas and dark chocolate covered cherry for me! Pure heaven for the taste buds! For my non-local friends, Dorinda ships! The pumpkin truffle is soooooooo good!

After Dorinda’s Chocolates we took a long walk along the riverfront for the next phase of our T & C date day! Had much thought and conversation about how Thomas could become a duck. He enjoyed the ducks so much …. So beautiful and peaceful!

Last stop on the November Thomas & Camilla Date Day … Park time! Brrrrrr! It was chilly out there!

Throwback Post: Gratitude for the Kitchen Helper

The pumpkin pie helper!! Such an excited young man!! Let’s see how it turns out. Gluten-free and made WITHOUT sweetened condensed milk and made with coconut sugar!! Smells good!!

Cranberry sauce helper!! Made with coconut sugar. Oh so good. This will be the 3rd year I’ve made it with coconut sugar instead of white sugar. It makes the sauce brown but we don’t care. It’s yum! We have it on ice cream too! Nom, Nom!!

For those who shared in my excitement regarding the AAC App and iPhone for Lillian a couple of months ago . . . Spent some time on the phone this morning with the code developer of the App (Proloquo2Go) ~ We shall see where this leads!
