Exciting news to share. Beginning July 1st, I will assume a portion of NCED Family Navigation Network’s project management. I’ll get a lovely increase in pay, and increase from 11 hours to 20. 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you to NCED, Lex, and Marcia for offering this to me. ❤️💋❤️ (Photos from this morning’s walk.)

I feel like I’ve stepped into the multiverse and entered a different reality. I continue to have my mind blown almost daily.
New connections who are sweet and fun, re-engaging with old connections who are sweet and fun is a beautiful and inspiring thing. Great opportunities, openness, and authenticity permeate the air and soil of this reality.
It’s absolutely infectious as we inspire one another to exit the cocoon, open up, do the things, and engage fully with life in this moment.
I went to Trader Joe’s yesterday. For the past 8 years, I’ve been a nearly invisible person walking around in public.
A few people literally stopped in their tracks. One commenting on my stone necklace (pictured) and one crossing across the parking lot to share his thoughts.
I’m not sharing to gloat or boast. I’m hoping to give a nudge to anyone who needs it and I’m just so blown away. It’s invigorating to be noticed by others after so long of hiding myself. My wish is that we all get to this place of feeling healthy, open, authentic, and alive. (Photo from my after dinner walk last night.)

It’s B-12 shot day. I’ve been doing it myself for about 6 months now. When I think about how I felt this time last year, 2 and 3 years ago; it makes me shudder.
Now that I’m healthy and so many other factors have shifted, I’m grabbing life by the hand and dancing until my music ends (or until I can no longer move 🤣). 💋❤️💋

I had such a great time with the two coffee chats recently, and attending the Monday night poetry. I’m craving more.
I’ve had huge shifts in my life over the past couple of months and have emerged from an 8 year cocoon. During that time, I made myself invisible, shrinking away from nearly all invites, or even anything that was getting close to an invite. This was completely my own doing. It was just where I needed to be at the time. And now I’m ready to socialize again. I’m slowly finding events and attending them, but thought I’d put this out there, too.
Let’s have coffee or go to an event together, or collaborate on a book or project.

I’m late posting this, but the last day of 11th grade and last day of first year of college was Monday for Thomas. Here are some recycled photos since I’m rarely allowed to photograph Thomas. 🤣😂🤣
I’m super proud of Thomas, and honored to get to be Thomas’s Mom. Thomas’s bravery is infectious and I am one hard core fierce Mom supporter, defender and advocate! I’ve been slowly handing matters over to Thomas so they can leave the nest on good footing to do adulting! I hope! 😜😜😜
I’m in my last year of Thomas living at home. Feels wild to even think about. Up next is senior year and second year of college. I did it! We did it!! You did it, Thomas! 💋❤️💥🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻💥❤️💋

New shirt. Perfect for walks in this increasingly warmer to hot weather. I am horrible with these selfies. was trying to get a good photo of the rainbow. 🖤🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🖤
It was very hard to go outside with this on! I’ve not shown this much skin in a very long time. Much less my stomach! Way out of my comfort zone! 💋💋💋

Am I hot and soaked with sweat? Absolutely! I’ve been putting off incorporating HIIT workouts into my routine. But I wanted something different. I started doing it this week with dancing. That’s a damn workout there. And FUN! Whew. 💦💦💦

I went again. I absolutely adore this group of people. The poems shared were powerful, meaningful, and passionate.
I shared a new poem, written today.
Wild Flower
As a young girl she loved music,
moving her body to the beat
With her record player and 45’s
She was a Dancing Queen.
Music made everything better
The discomfort of Life melted
Leaving only the beat and lyrics.
She feels the beat, the words,
in her heart, her soul, her bones.
As a child and teen,
Soul Train, Solid Gold,
American Bandstand
Were her Saturdays.
Dreams of being a Solid Gold dancer, Being a Rockette.
She assumed these dreams to be out of reach.
As it went, as she got older,
Life took it’s twists and turns
With dreams of becoming a dancer unrealized.
As she became an adult, married, had kids
She hid that part of herself
Rarely dancing.
2023 has brought an emergence
After 8 years of withdrawing from Society,
Refraining from being social,
She says, No longer.
Fuck that!
I’m dancing.
I’m dancing when I go for walks.
I’m dancing when I’m in the grocery store.
I’m dancing in my seat while driving.
I’m dancing while working.
I’m dancing while at the gym.
I’m dancing while making out.
I’m letting the music, the beat, the words
Move my gypsy, Pisces soul
As I float into the mystic.
I’m here to let the Wild Flower Within,
bloom,
sharing my scent,
My colors, my vibrance with all I encounter.
Let’s put on our Boogie Shoes
And do it all night long
Let’s Dance!
