Stepping Way Out of My Comfort Zone

It was very hard to go outside with this on! I’ve not shown this much skin in a very long time. Much less my stomach! Way out of my comfort zone! 💋💋💋

Am I hot and soaked with sweat? Absolutely! I’ve been putting off incorporating HIIT workouts into my routine. But I wanted something different. I started doing it this week with dancing. That’s a damn workout there. And FUN! Whew. 💦💦💦

Leaving the Comfort Zone With New Shoes

Oh my gosh! I love my new shoes! 🖤

And y’all. These dating apps are weird and wild. Especially when you’ve been holed up for 8 years, and have been solo for 15 years. 😱 My neurospicy self researched all of them, ranked them according to reviews, and have been trying one a week. 🤣 This is the Camilla Way. 💥 I’m on the third one now.

I have no idea what I’m doing, and don’t expect anything of it (and not sure I want something to come of it). I’m mainly doing it to move out of my comfort zone, to start socializing once again, and to be fully participating in this moment in time. 💋❤️💋 (And just noticed I haven’t cleaned the new polish I put on yesterday. Whatever, candid shot!)

June 13, 2023 Update – Well. I think I’m about done with these crazy dating apps. There are simply way too many fake profiles and nonsense. I don’t think I have the patience for it! I’m going to stick to socializing in person for now.

Monday Night Poetry – Leaving the Comfort Zone

I stepped out of my comfort zone big time tonight. While Thomas was in their 6:00pm appointment, instead of sitting in the car for an hour, I drove 5 minutes to Shim’s Speakeasy.

This was my first time here, and I loved it. The atmosphere and the people were awesome. Plus!!! They have Guinness 0. Woohoo! I was only able to stay for an hour, but I plan on going next Monday, and I can stay for the full spoken poetry event, getting myself on the stage. 😱Thursday looks like fun with Old Skool Music. Yay me!! 💖💋💖

Stick a Fork in Me – I’m Done

After about 8 years of marinating in my own lil bubble, I’m ready to be social again. 🎉🎉🎉

I picked up some new clothes this week, a gorgeous multicolored fiesta skirt, cool metallic sandals, and a white dress. I’m ready to step out! 🎶🎶🎶

My outdoor roller skates just arrived. 🎉🎉 They’re not tied properly, as I just wanted to try them on. It will be a while before I move from inside the house to outside. 😂🤣😂 But, YAY!! Just waiting on my rainbow socks now. 💋🎶💜🎶💋
