**THROWBACK POST**
September 3 2014:
Spring 2014 vaulting lessons for Thomas at Center for Adaptive Riding … Looking forward to next Spring and Summer so he can do it all over again!
The week I sold my wedding dress:
Reno/Tahoe/Sparks/Sacramento and surrounding area friends: Know anyone getting married next Spring, Summer or Fall? I had been saving this for Lillian but she doesn’t want it. Go me with purging! Here’s some info. Please feel free to share .. Ilissa Wedding Dress by Demetrios. Bought brand new for nearly $900. This is the magazine photo. I have the Summer 1996 “For the Bride by Demetrios” magazine with this photo also. The dress is no longer made so it’s likely you’d be one of a kind with this one!
It was cleaned and preserved by Merry Go Round cleaners in Los Angeles and is still wrapped in a special 100% cotton liner inside a Museum Quality acid-free coffer with a 100% cotton outer cover. I wore it for my wedding in 1998 and it was preserved shortly after that.
The back is sheer like the arms. The dress is a size 8, but there were alterations made to it to fit me perfectly. It was a tad too big. I am 5’7″ to give you an idea of the length.
$450.00 or best offer

Happening this afternoon! Nothing like graduating from high school AFTER you’ve graduated from college! 🤣😂🤣
Way to go, Thomas Darnell!! 💥💥💥 I’m incredibly excited for you, and your future! I’m excited to cheer you on, basking in the glow of your successes, and you living life on your terms. You are my sunshine, loving you til the end of time, warm-hearted child of mine. ❤❤❤
That’s it! My baby is done. Graduated TMCC High School with an Honors Diploma, in the Top 10 graduates, and with an AA and AAS degree.
Thomas’s quote read aloud as they walked, “I know this year started with a sunrise, but I can’t feel like it’s ending with one, too. So rather than say goodbye, I can only say, come sunrise, parabellum.“

Last night I went on a side quest to attend a sunset tea party.
Not just any sunset tea party.
This was a sunset tea party in Upside Down Land.
Am I about to tell you a popping fiction story? I’ll leave that to you to decide.
When I arrived, I nearly entered the wrong portal. A lovely gentlemen corrected my course, explaining that I had to travel through Upside Down Land to be admitted to the tea party.
With the lovely gentleman as my tour guide we traveled through Upside Down Land, with he narrating each spectacle we came across. It was a wild, twisty, tangled journey when at last we exited into the magical outdoors of Upside Down Land.
I was greeted by the most stunning scene. A long table garnished with delicious treats. Chocolate covered strawberries, homemade scones, cucumber sandwiches, grapes, along with an abundance of tea choices.
The table must have been decorated by the fairies who live in Upside Down Land. They decorated with fairy lights, antique typewriters, fairy books, candles, and antique books. Along with the most elegant collection of tea cups and saucers.
The soft voices of the guests hung in the slightly cool and refreshing air, held in place by sweet-sounding music. Those of us who didn’t know one another, got to know one another. Those of us who did, caught up with one another.
A few of us shared poetry, and one guest shared a funny sibling story. When the time came to depart Upside Down Land and the tea party, hugs were shared and goodbyes were spoken. Two lovely fairies escorted me to my motor car.
As I drove away, I reflected on the extraordinary nature of this night. I was treated like a queen. In fact, all guests were treated like royalty. Nothing was spared in creating this magical environment for all of us be as children. I thought, I’m a middle-aged freaking woman, and I just went to a sunset tea party.
A sunset tea party in Upside Down Land.
And I’m damn well going to do this again!
Thank you to Krystal for facilitating this!❣️Thank you to Jesse James Ziegler for letting me borrow some of your photos! ❤️

I met up with some lovely special needs moms yesterday, getting my cup filled in the process. So good.
I guess I’ve become legendary with my Zoom moderating of our (FNN) online events. 😂 I get straight to the heart of the matter and asks lots of questions. No bull shitting. I ask the questions that need to be asked.❣️❣️❣️

Even though I haven’t been back to Jackson in nearly 20 years, this makes me sad. Wingfield High School is no more. 😭😭😭 I was graduated with the class of The Great ’88!

Having a pretty cruddy day. Lots of anxiety and feeling off. I made a huge decision yesterday, and also missed my beloved Monday Night Poetry last night. Think I need laughter. Please share jokes, funny cat videos, great and/or funny poetry, anything sure to bring laughter. Thank you!!! 🙏💋🙏
**I posted this on facebook and everyone shared such wonderful memes and videos! This is my online journal of sorts, so I transfer and post everything here also. I’m just behind!**
