Thomas and Camilla November 2015 date day ….

Enchiladas for Thomas. Tortilla soup and a cheese enchilada for me. Sopapillas for dessert. Thomas says he likes this place – Good feeling and good food. Part 1

Thomas and Camilla November 2015 Date Day …

A stop at the grocery store so Thomas could pick out some fresh veggies. He got a portobello mushroom, radishes, and a huge tomato. Then off to Audrey Harris Park to check out the view of the snow. Tried to catch some on our tongues too!! Thomas says the wind tastes good! xoxo Part 2

November 22 2014:

We interrupt the November 2014 Thomas n Camilla date day so Thomas can enjoy a Sibshop! The date resumes at 2:00!

Next stop on the November 2014 Thomas n Camilla Date Day …. It was windy and rainy so we did indoor stuff! Mini turkey dinner with cheese and wine at Trader Joes, then window shopping for books at Barnes & Noble, then dessert of chocolate cream pie and pumpkin pie at Whole Foods with lots of cheese and a taste of wine. So fun!!!

Last stop on the November 2014 Thomas n Camilla date … More window shopping. So fun pretending!

September 6 2016:

Thomas and Camilla August 2016 date day …. (Our date day got postponed by a few days as Thomas was sick!)

Ended the date with enjoying cookies after dinner. And then a starlit walk.

Little Washoe Lake ….

“Would anyone believe that playing with sticks and walking and splashing in the water would be so fun?” -Thomas

This was an impromptu stop as we drove right by on our way home from Carson City. And it was Thomas’ idea …. Kinda. As I had just thought, we should stop by the lake. Hmmm.

Thomas told me he was having so much fun and was so happy we stopped. I sat in the sand and watched him a while and then he asked me to join him. And I did. Took off my shoes and walked and splashed with him.

Cost of this date = $0 / Value = Priceless xoxo ….

Yesterday was the January 2021 Thomas and Camilla Date Day

Lunch from House of Mexica (all Vegan menu)

Jungle Tamale and Mexica fries for me. BBQ Mac hamburger and fries for Thomas. Horchata for both of us to rinse it all down.

We had a car picnic with a lovely view at Aubrey Harris park, and then went for a walk at Virginia Foothills park.

First was lunch. Miso Ramen noodles with fried tofu for me and Korean BBQ for Thomas.

Then we headed for snow as Thomas really wants it to snow. It’s nearly reached us, only about 10 minutes up Mt Rose Highway.

Thomas and Camilla November 2020 Date Day

Lunch from Ike’s Love & Sandwiches: “Meatball” sandwich for me, Jaymee Sirewich for Thomas, with fries for both of us. Followed by a Cocomel Sea Salt caramel for dessert.

After lunch we drove to where Scripts Wildlife Preserve and Washoe Lake meet for a brutal wind whipped walk. Our wind does not mess around! After our crazy walk, we drove around the lake, always so peaceful.

Thomas and Camilla October 2020 Date Day

First: House of Mexica for lunch. I absolutely love this place!! They are an all vegan restaurant and have a huge menu.

I had 3 Hibiscus tacos with a side of asada fries that we both shared. Washed down with Jaimaca. Everything was perfection!!! Who knew dried hibiscus flowers mimicked shredded meat when sautéed?

Thomas had the bacon lord burger, washed down with Horchata.
